Sunday Worship Services
Worship at Westlake United Methodist Church is offered in a variety of formats knowing that we all experience God in different ways.
- The 8:15am worship is a quiet & reflective experience with communion offered weekly.
- The 10am worship is a classic service with organ, choirs and favorite hymns.
- The 11:21am is a high energy worship experience designed to take the message of God's hope, mercy & forgiveness deep into your life to impact the world.
Regardless of the style, all our services are rooted in the Biblical lectionary and offer encouraging words for your life by our Pastor, Rev John Butchko. Stop by for a visit to see which one best fits your worship style. Families are welcomed and encouraged at all services. And please feel free to stay after each service to participate in our Coffee Hour!
Youth and Adult Classes take place at 9:00 a.m.
Sunday School for children is available at 10 and 11:21am.
Free, professional childcare is available in the Nursery during all services, from 8:00am to 12 noon.
Please note that additional parking is available during worship at Frankie's Restaurant and Marriott Brighton Gardens (west of Glenmore).

Chancel Choir
Chancel Choir is made up of singers grade 10 through adult and specializes in choral classics from all genre, both old and new. This choir is directed by Andy Call Rehearsals are held in the sanctuary on Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM.

Celebration Singers

Celebration Singers is a World Music Ensemble made up of singers grade 7 through adult. This ensemble sings music from various cultures and traditions, singing occasionally in worship. Celebration Singers meets on Thursdays from 6:30 . 7:30pm in the sanctuary and is directed by Andy Call. Rehearsals are underway! Chamber Ensemble

The Chamber Ensemble is a select group of singers performing more challenging music and presenting occasionally in worship. All singers are also members of at least one other choir. In 2009, the Chamber Ensemble was named "Best Church Choir in Northeast Ohio" as winners of the WCLV/UCC Jubilation Choral Festival. Click below to hear a sound sample from the Jubilation festival. Children's Choir
Children's Choir provides an opportunity for young singers to develop their musical skills while praising God through song. This choir meets at 9:15am on Sunday mornings. The choirs begin the 2010 fall session on September 17th.
Joyful Spirit Bells
Joyful Spirit is an open group of 12-15 ringers directed by Barb Siwik. This choir meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month. (September through May) New ringers are always welcome, regardless of experience.Monday Morning Handbells
Monday Morning is an auditioned group of 15 ringers directed by Ardith McCloy.
Performing Arts Series
Westlake United Methodist Church is pleased to offer a Performing Arts Series for our community to enjoy. The series features performances of excellence by some of the finest of amateur, collegiate, and professional musicians, as well as showcasing our own outstanding ensembles.
