Westlake United Methodist Church!
Welcome to Westlake United Methodist Church where we take the phrase “Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors” seriously. These words are more than a slogan. They are our identity as a faith community. We are a church that welcomes people of all ages, races, social and economic backgrounds, sexual orientation, and gender identity. It is our prayer that every day we live our lives in a manner such that others will want to be followers of Jesus. We hope you will join us for inspiring worship this Sunday!
Peace be with you.

This fall, Coffee Talks takes on Seeing Gray in a World of Black and White; Thoughts on Religion, Morality, and Politics by Adam Hamilton. Blending discussion driven from the book, video, and even Hamilton's Blog on "things that divide us" is designed to challenge the notion that religion and politics don't mix. In Hamilton's words, "Though we disagree... I still want to listen to you because you're my brother or sister." And with God's help, "may we model for others how to listen with humility and work together for the common good."
Topics include: Where faith and politics meet, culture wars, guns, the ethics of Jesus, healthcare, seeing gray, immigrants and the Bible, and what would Jesus say to America.
